the beasts are back (Environmental Art Hebrides and SBK)

Here you will find a link to Laura Donker's work at Outlandia residency that SBK has been documenting. Laura is also working on behalf of Environmental Art Hebrides which she created (http://www.earthebrides.co.uk/index.htm). Wilderness and its comprehension through art and science is our common research matter. Our first fruitful collaboration outcome has been Laura's four-legs walk and SBK's ability to sheep-talking. "The beasts are back" is a special anthem that shall not suggest any idea of anthropomorphism. Beasts are beasts ; humans are humans. Culture.

Body is feeling weak today. Started out a new series of drawing. Salmiakki drawings. For now, here are some old ones, not too old though. North Uist Island drawings. And also today, just finished to complete and write some quite important texts and file. Will post it tomorrow at the postoffice,  not on facebook.

North Uist Island

So far SBK hasn't collapsed on North Uist Island, Outer Hebrides, Scotland. It has even succeeded. SBK will write more in a close future about its feeling regarding that stunning-mind-blowing island. For now images will make the story. Finnish SBK Karhu (bear) is back working on projects, experimenting video shoots (https://vimeo.com/user9972742), drawing, creating new folks. This animal series  stands between the ideas of collapse and succeed. (here refering to Jared Diamond's book, Collapse, How societies choose to fail or succceed).
